Paws for Life Rescue is a nonprofit, all-breed dog and cat rescue operating in southeast Michigan. Run by dedicated, hardworking volunteers, Paws for Life is a shelter partner. We rescue dogs and cats from overflowing shelters in Michigan, saving two lives - the one we take and the one that needs the empty kennel space we left behind.
Speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves.
Hello, my name is Hammy and I'm in love with you already. I am a super friendly, loving, fun and fun-loving, neutered male dog. I am the best, everyone says so. And, fabulous news, I come with a Scrat. We are two peas in a pod, the dynamic duo, inseparable in all things. We sleep together, play together, lounge together and I am truly Scrat's emotional support buddy. He needs me. I give him confidence and show him that the world isn't such a scary place. There are wonderful, loving people out there and I'm going to prove it to him. Scrat is friendly and loves humans, too. He just needs a little more time than I do to warm up to new people and new places. Scrat is smaller than me. We are both housetrained and we are good dogs. Right now, we are living in a boarding kennel and it's pretty hard on us. So, even if you can't give us a forever home, maybe you could give us a temporary home. The rescue will provide everything we need, from all our supplies to all of our medical care. Please apply today and prepare to fall in love!
Adopt the pair: $120. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, 30 days of free pet insurance, one session with a certified behavior trainer and microchip. If you want to adopt or foster Hammy and Scrat, just fill out an application.
Big chunk of love coming in hot! Hi guys, my name is Schwin! I am 20 pounds of handsome. I'm a 3-year-old, shorthaired, neutered male cat who is in search of a forever home. I'm large and in charge and hoping to find someone who can help me lose a little bit of weight.
While I have rolls for days and the house sounds like an earthquake when I walk, for the sake of my health, I really have to lose some weight. I am a super sweet boy once you get to know me. I love to be petted and loved on all day long. I am FIV+, but don't let those three little letters scare you - I'm perfectly healthy in every way (other than being chunky).
Could you be my new best friend?
