Paws for Life is dedicated to saving the lives of as many homeless, neglected, abused and abandoned dogs, cats, puppies and kittens as possible. We're proud of our life-saving record, which you can find below.
Paws for Life's life-saving percentage is calculated by dividing live outcomes by total dispositions.
A “live outcome” is an indication of the number of animals leaving a facility by means other than euthanasia or in-care death. Live outcomes are usually achieved through adoption, reclaim by owner, transfer to another agency or other life‐saving actions.
“Total dispositions” is the number of animals that entered the rescue’s care in the same period of time.
